Given that with Voriconazole a 55% success rate is expected at 12 weeks, with an estimated 25% loss of patients due to baseline illness, to show a 15% advantage of combination therapy over monotherapy, 324 patients would be required as proof of concept, whereas a 10% advantage would require 752 patients.
