Spanish term

hacer su previsión

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Finance (general)
From a report on the invoicing procedures of a Spanish company in the manufacturing industry, comes the following paragraph:

"Según el contrato actual, si no recibimos ningún producto del proveedor, no pagamos al intermediario su comisión. Deberíamos regularizar la cuenta de pago a proveedores y el intermediario debería hacer su previsión."

There isn't much more related to this point, as the report offers a series of isolated recommendations. I'm not too sure how to interpret "hacer su previsión" in this context - does it mean that the intermediary/agent should charge their commission separately?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Martin Boyd (asker) Oct 16, 2009:
"make their provision" Thanks to everyone for their help. I subsequently discovered in this case that "previsión" was a typo of "provisión", which is a special in-house term for this company used to refer to agent commissions.

do its own forecast

"Provisiones" it is an accounting term in accountancy proffesion. It is also a generic name account into the Plan General Contable (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). or similar in your country) in Spain. This phrase must be referred to forecast entries on the account of each own balance, both supplier and costumer must regularice its own accountancy if there is not a reception from the supplier. I don't think this have nothing to be related with separate commisions.
... and the agent/intermediary should do its own forecast.
I hope this solves your doubt.
