wicked technologies

It used to be that only people from Boston would understand that, but it's become more widespread. "Pete's Wicked Ale" helped, I guess.

By the way, quite possibly "technology" in the singular will be better in that sentence, as a collective.

Lots of people thought of "wicked technology" before.

Another way to make sure nobody misses the point would be "wicked good technology." "Wicked good" is a classic way of saying it (especially in Boston).

agree GaryG : or "diabolically good"; I didn't post it as an answer because it, too, requires "good" to be unambiguous, and "diabolical" is pretty much a synonym of "wicked" here

Thanks, Gary. Sounds like an alternative answer to me, why don't you post it?
agree Kiwiland Bear : ++// In local usage you can hear things like: "She looks [real] wicked" - this is a compliment, similar to "looks cool" only in a more tricky, foxy, sophisticated fashion. Or "it was one wicked goal" in football, again, said with approval.

Thanks. Is the Kiwi usage as an adjective, or an adverb? In the USA the adverbial form ('wicked good," etc.) is firmly associated with Boston. Urban Dic: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=wicked Other: http://www.masshole.com/wickedguide.html

Deuced technologies; devilish technologies

Both options imply "hell of intricacy"; I personally prefer the first option because of its rhythm ("Divine quality, deuced technologies.")
