Un *****parámetro subrogado***** es una medida de laboratorio o un signo físico o de imagen utilizado como sustituto de un objetivo clínicamente relevante.

I've taken this definition off the web so as not to reveal too much (or even anything) about the actual translation I'm doing (client confidentiality and all that). The obvious choice would be "subrogated parameter" but it's clearly not that -- hence the question.
