taking particular care to ensure
Explanation:
In fact, there are many possibilities here, and we are missing the essential context of what follows the 'que...'? That is going to be crucial in deciding what preceding structure is or is not going to be usable. In particular, it is likely to make a big difference whether this is a negative or positive thing?

In actual fact, revisiting this question, I think my suggestion was perhaps (like the others, in fact) slightly adrift, inasmuch as the 'noatmment' really refers to what follows, rather than to the 'en veillant'.

So I think the wording I've entered into the glossary would perhaps be a more accurate translation of the source text: "taking care in particular to ensure..."

It's a subtle point, but depending on that missing context, might well be an all-important one!

Or in fact, the actual gloss. entry wording:

"in particular, taking care to ensure that"

Again, just where the 'in particular 'needs to go depends a lot on the surrounding context.

agree  Nikki Scott-Despaigne: Although we need the end of the sentence as 'au fait que' would probably read 'au fait DE' to match this suggestion.//Yup, but I did say 'probably'! ;-)

-> Thanks, Nikki! Not necessarily, actually: what about '... au fait que [bidule] (ne) soit [machin]'?
