Discussion

Hans Wang Jan 31, 2012:
pt means patienten btw, the patient
rajagopalan sampatkumar Jan 31, 2012:
without the complete sentence it is not possible to provide the answer.
Y. Peraza Jan 31, 2012:
Could we have the full sentence? Or does it end there?

controlled

"In order" is a direct translation of the Danish term used and does not accurately capture what the medical record is actually saying. I think the closest would be: [disease] has been controlled by . . .

It would also help if you provided a longer text next time so we can see what is on both sides of the term you are looking for help with.

When I say "accurately capture" I mean that "kept in order" is not something that I usually see when someone talks about controlling, managing or keeping in check a disease in a medical record in English.

in order

would the above fit in this context? Note that Pt is patient and not parent.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Michael Davies : det kunne også være 'i opblusning' - noget ganske andet! Vi får brug for noget mere kontekst. Enig med Davids bemærkning om Pt = patient.

Could it be a typo for "i ro"

quiescent

Den danske forkortelse for "i opblusning" er "i opbl" - forkortelsen i.o. betyder "i orden". På US Engelsk er "quiescent" brugt mest.
