I imagine this is a typo? In a drawing for installing a tank with screws.
Drill pilot hole using 3/32” drill bit.

I know this is a super old enquiry. However, I bumped into the same issue, on engineering drawings.
TYP is the the abbreviation of "typical". It means the drawing is an example, that we can find in several different contexts or position in the described work. E.g.
TYP EACH CHANNEL WALL
-> représentatif de chaque mur du canal
