Norwegian term

kjøpsrett

Norwegian to English Law/Patents Law (general) purchasing
purchasing law?

We also have kontraktsrett (contract law), familierett (family law) etc.

kjøpsloven is the Sale of Goods Act. Why not call it the Purchasing Act then?

Discussion

jeffrey engberg (asker) Apr 4, 2014:
That is the point kjøpsretten is not kjøpsloven.
kjøpsrett is the general category of law.
the statute/act is the sales of goods act.
