Has anyone ever run into this term before? It is something used for covering ulcers and scars, including stomach ulcers (http://tidsskriftet.no/article/1790848/) and, in the context of my translation, a perforated duodenum. In both examples, it is something that is complementary to suture: "Denne (den duodenal perforasjonen) ble lukket med primær suture. Det ble lagt en omentflik over." The term also seems to exist in Swedish.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
