PV deviation must be completed if the requirements of the inspection and acceptance criteria cannot be met. The deviation report may be not more than one copy and all the deviation numbers must be completed on the test form.
For numbering of all the deviations in the process of PV, the deviation firstly found is expressed as "DV-01".
The deviations which can be solved in the test process will also be handled as the deviation even the results can meet the acceptance criteria and the list of deviations can be seen in Appendix 1.

“Process validation (PV) is the collection and evaluation of data, from the process design
stage through commercial production, which establishes scientific evidence that a manufacturing
process is capable of consistently delivering quality products. Process validation is required by
current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) as an essential element in the assurance of drug
quality”(22)
