A.2 Territorial jurisdiction.

Belgian law must be applied to determine the internal territorial competent court (art. 629 bis Jud. Code.).

The court notes from the information available that a family file was opened for the parties and their children at this division of the court of first instance West Flanders, family court section, known under no. FD 430203-16-01500. Pursuant to the territorial anchoring of the family file in accordance with art. 629 bis §1 Judicial Code, this court has territorial jurisdiction to take cognizance of this new (divorce) claim.

This court therefore has territorial jurisdiction accordingly art. 629 bis §1 Jud. Code.
