regler regl'e'r are 'rules' (& regulations) - not directly anything to do with 'reglar' unless there are certain (e.g. building) regulations, which place constraints upon the type and size of 'reglar', which are permitted in certain constructions situations.

"Reglar" is the Danish word for (light) wooden beams - as opposed to bjælke(r), which are heavy construction / load bearing beams. "Reglar" are finished (planed) on all 4 sides.
