Dutch term

verhaking van de facetten

This term is from a medical report about a patient who has been in an accident and sustained multiple injuries.

I am not sure how to translate verhaking.
US English is needed.
Proposed translations (English)

Thank you for the great reference and for the feedback. I forgot to tick the box.

Pity you don't target your questions at people with medical knowledge LOL

Facet subluxation/dislocation?

fusion

I am not entirely sure, but I think it is a fusion. For example, if someone goes for a neck operation, it may be necessary to remove a piece of bone from the (normally) hip and insert it in the neck, via a fusion, to rectify the neck injury.
