This link will direct you to a medical transcriptionists' forum. Lollypop is transcribed there in relation to a knee replacement procedure. Hope this will help. I have not found any explanatory links yet, so it is just a suggestion.

METHODS: Sixteen patients with unilateral rotating platform TKA (TC-SB, Plus Orthopedics, Switzerland) consented to participate in this prospective, randomized, blinded, and IRB approved study. All patients were operated by a single senior surgeon (FK). Eight knees received the prosthesis using a ligament balancing technique employing fixed thick-ness spacer blocks, so-called “lollipops” (control group). Eight knees received the same prosthesis design employing a calibrated spreader/balancer device to equalize the joint gaps and ligament balance in flexion and extension (spreader group). A standard sequential soft-tissue releasing technique was utilized in both control and spreader groups. There were no differences between the control and spreader groups for height, weight, age, sex distribution, preoperative deformity or preoperative clinical scores (Table 1).

: This gets very few hits, but I can't see what else it could be. There's a picture on p. 14 here, and it looks like a lollipop stick. I think the 7 means 7 mm. www.coringroup.com/document.php?o=634
