Ce terme est utilisé concernant un appel d'offres. Le calendrier de l'appel d'offre (rfp) comprend ce qui suit : rfp issuance, deadline for intention to bid confirmation, deadline for submission of inquiries, consolidated answer to all inquiries. S'agit-il de demandes de renseignements ?

Yes, that is indeed basically what it means — though I'm not too sure about the actual FR term. One of my FR > EN clients, if I remember rightly, more or less just referred to it as 'questions'!

The usual procedure is: prospective bidders are allowed to submit questions / requests for additional information up till a certain deadline; then the questions are answered, and the questions with their answers circulated to ALL the bidders, for the sake of fairness.
