siphon break

Non-PRO English to Polish Tech/Engineering
the dip tube (presumably inside the vessel) that I asked about in my previous question can also have a siphon break. What is this siphon break and what do you call it in Polish?

Will appreciate your help.

the tube used for filling tanks is usually shaped like inverted U.
However, once the tank is filled and the pump turned off, the liquid could siphon back (ZASADA LEWARA). To prevent this, you need a siphon break. A device that introduces air into the siphon and breaks the liquid's continuity.

Hope it helps, Piotr.
