English term

PD-L1 axis binding antagonist

English to Russian Science Biology (-tech,-chem,micro-) биохимия
Binding polypeptides are polypeptides that bind, preferably specifically, to PD-L1 as described herein. In some embodiments, the binding polypeptides are ***PD-L1 axis binding antagonist***. Binding polypeptides may be chemically synthesized using known polypeptide synthesis methodology or may be prepared and purified using recombinant technology. Binding polypeptides are usually at least about 5 amino acids in length, alternatively at least about 6, 7 or 100 amino acids in length or more, wherein such binding polypeptides that are capable of binding, preferably specifically, to a target, PD-L1, as described herein.

антагонист, связывающийся с компонентом сигнального пути PD-L1

Насколько я поняла, слово axis иногда используют вместо pathway ("сигнальный путь"). Например: The B7-1/2/CD28 costimulatory axis is one of the most extensively studied positive signaling pathways... (http://goo.gl/gvRvGZ).

Вот тут более подробно описаны эти антагонисты: The term “PD-L1 axis binding antagonist” is a molecule that inhibits the interaction of a PD-L1 axis binding partner with either one or more of its binding partner, so as to remove T-cell dysfunction resulting from signaling on the PD-1 signaling axis—with a result being to restore or enhance T-cell function. As used herein, a PD-L1 axis binding antagonist includes a PD-L1 binding antagonist and a PD-1 binding antagonist as well as molecules that interfere with the interaction between PD-L1 and PD-1 (e.g., PD-L2-Fc).
