Of course, other options might include "calificación" or "nota," but in the context of the TOEFL (and TOEIC) you often see "puntuación" and "puntaje" used, as the result is not equivalent to a percentage or to a grade, as such. Indeed, in English, "score" is the word that institutions and the creators of the test (ETS) use.

And as far as "exit" goes, this refers to the institutional TOEFL score obtained at the end of (or upon exiting) the program, in this case at the end of the Pathway Program.
