Context follows.
Many thanks

A term used to signify that all investment services are provided or "wrapped up" in a single asset based fee.
A friend in the U.S. recommended a Wrap account to me. Can you explain what this type of account is?
In the U.S., a Wrap account is a managed or "packaged" investment account with an annual fee based on the portfolio's value. It allows access to leading money managers and funds. The fee covers all investment management, custody, and transaction charges, and can be as much as 3.0% of the assets under management. A variety of banks and investment managers outside the U.S. also are beginning to offer this type of account.
In the U.S., a typical Wrap account provided by a broker would purchase a range of mutual funds, or individual stocks or bonds, that fit the client's investor profile.
Typically, Wrap accounts with a focus on money market or fixed-income investments will have a lower management fee than accounts with an equity focus.
Wrap accounts offer three key benefits. First, a professional Portfolio Manager takes care of the day-to-day investment decisions and provides you with detailed reporting on all of your investments.
Second, Wrap accounts are an excellent way to consolidate your portfolio. Because all the investment services are included in one annual fee, your portfolio management costs are clear and upfront.
Third, the larger your investment portfolio, the lower the percentage rate you will have to pay in annual fees. Bringing your investments together in one Wrap account, then, could reduce your overall management costs.
An account in which a brokerage manages an investor's portfolio for a flat quarterly or annual fee. This fee covers all administrative, commission, and management expenses. Sometimes this also includes funds of funds.
Notes:The advantage of a wrap is that it protects you from overtrading. This is when your broker trades your account excessively to make more commission. Furthermore, because the broker gets a flat annual fee, then he/she only trades when it is advantageous to you. A traditional wrap typically requires an initial investment of at least $50,000 to $100,000.
