Additional recognized but non-quantified groundwater resources are physically available in areas marginal to the immediate area of Toromocho Project, such as groundwater stored in fracture zones and solution-widened fractures in limestone strata of the Jumasha Formation northeast from Morococha in the Pacchapata (Pampa Puypuy) area, and in the same formation in the Rumichaca basin south from the proposed tailings storage facility. Groundwater from these undeveloped and non- quantified sources does not report to Kingsmill Tunnel.
