Quede claro que no necesito traducir la definición, sino que la incluyo solamente a modo de explicación de lo que significa una persona considerada "working aged" en Estados Unidos. Se me ocurre "miembros de la población activa en edad de jubilación (y/o sus cónyuges)"

Be careful though; I don't think, in fact I'm pretty sure that it does NOT include the spouses. The web definitions you have selected seem like definitions from a social security/pension fund point of view (where whether someone's spouse works is an important factor in determining pensions and other rights etc). On the face of it, 'working aged' is precisely that - older (pensioner-age) persons who continue working.
Maybe your context requires a reference to spouses, but on the face of it, this expression does not include spouses
