Judging from the definition the "spider" must be rather small and hardly visible from outside of the speaker. The "spider" is NOT the metallic "legs" you see when you place a speaker face down.

"Dual" is a notorious word in the technical lexicon which can mean "double", "double-layered", "twin", "paired", "dual-purpose".

Det verkar faktiskt som om konens fjädrande upphängning i korgen heter så på svenska också. Trots att jag sysslat med ljud sedan 1960 är det första gången som jag hört ett namn på denna högtalardel...
