English term or phrase: Marks for Process

==========================
Testing Procedures:

End-of-Course Practical Test
In-Lab
Open Book
***Marks for Process*** (must show steps taken)
Marks for Results
50% of Overall Mark
==========================

Gracias.

Yes, process is the right word. I am sure it is not a typo.

agree  Jennifer Levey: OK for the translation - but I'm not convinced that the 50% refers to the split between method and results - it looks like 50% go to method+results, and 50% to 'other' tests, not mentioned in the extract.

agree  Andy Watkinson: Same as in maths (or "math"). It's not so much a question of obtaining the result as knowing the method employed to obtain it. In this case, the "process".
