Ein Verkauf des Fahrzeugs in Deutschland was möglich und zumutbar, da bis zum Verkauf sich das Fahrzeug in der Obhut der Fa. X sicher befunden hätte, der Aufkäufer nach den im Gutachten ausgewiesenen Restwertangeboten die Transportkosten bezahlt hätte und sich mit eventuellen Steuerfragen wegen der Einfuhr und Verwertung in Deutschland zu befassen gehabt hätte.
Although I can work out what the "Restwertangeboten" must be, I have no idea how to phrase it. I am using "salvage value" for "Restwert" in general in this translation, as it's talking about a car which is a write-off - however, I am open to other suggestions!

When you lease, you must choose between an open-end and closed-end lease. When you enter into an open-end lease contract, you bet that the car will be worth a certain amount at the end of the contract. This is known as the residual value. When you turn your car in at the end of the lease, it is appraised to determine its current market value. Once the value has been determined, you compare that number to the residual value assumed in the leasing contract. If the car's value is equal to or greater than the residual value, you owe nothing.
