Jest tez inna wersja: Jak nie urok, to s****ka. Chodzi mi przede wszystkim o oddanie znaczenia tego przyslowia.

it never rains but it pours

My grandmother used the "Jak nie urok to s***ka" and I think it's the most fantastic saying even now!

I have encountered something maybe a little bit similar though not as cute.
For instance: "I really feel sorry for Mike. First his wife left him. Next he lost his job. Then somebody stole his car. Like they say, it never rains but it pours."

But maybe it's more like "nieszczescia chodza parami"...

if not traffic jam, then plague

lub dowolne dwie inne przeszkody, przy czym dobrze by było, aby jedna z nich miała charakter prozaiczny (traffic jam, storm, diarhea) a druga bardziej doniosły (plague, earthquake, flood)
