Portuguese term

que raramente dispensa

Portuguese to English Art/Literary Religion buddhism, spirituality
Acontece-me frequentemente, na escuta da melhor música ocidental, sentir que a agitação em que se compraz teria que ceder o passo a uma atitude outra capaz de promover uma abertura interior e experiência de união que não se coaduna com aquela agitação **que raramente dispensa**.

what would be the best translation for 'dispensa' here? And is the subject of this verb 'aquela agitação'?

that almost always accompanies it

requires a slightly different word order (and yes, i think the subject is aquela agitacao) but would sound natural and make sense in the context
