Spanish term

gatos de presión

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering countertop edges
This is from a summary of a portable product that helps attach skirts (edges) to countertops. It is in Castillian Spanish and the client wants US English.

I'm not sure if it's pressure jack, as that term I find a lot with cars but maybe so much with countertop skirt installation. I think this is the Spanish definition of what I'm looking for:

Would this just be a clamp? Thanks for your help

Clamp or G clamp

In this instance (kitchen carpentry apparently) C-clamps (or G-clamps) are used. UK English also uses the term "cramp" though people my age and younger tend to just use the word clamp these days.
