This term appears several times in a coronary angiography report. Below I give various examples. I have found "large" as a possible answer in my Kudoz term search (www.proz.com/kudoz/spanish_to_english/medical:_cardiology/1... but am not convinced. any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
1) "Descendente anterior de buen calibre y desarrollo"
2) "lesion ostial severa de la 1a diagonal de regular desarrollo"
3) "Circunfleja ocluída en segmento proximal con recanalización parcial (segmento largo) y flujo TIMI 1 distal que rellena dos marginales de buen desarrollo"

I am sure that I have seen this term used before in this sense, reflecting that the situation developed well (into a good outcome)

I just came across the same expression and I checked with my clients (Spanish doctors): the expression means "course" in this context. So "normal course" would be the correct translation.
