: Hi David. I also saw the same reference, but in the original Spanish it refers to "los AACC" not "la AACC" which is what you would expect were it to refer to an Association.. i.e. I don't think it's the initials of an Association, but a Spanish plural.

: David, I also thought on the same the same translation (Chemistry not chemists), but despite this, the original text in Spanish mentions "los AACC". So, I don´t know if the " American Association of Clinical Chemistry" is suitable.
