a scientific problem refers to a final, important assessment Explanation: Hi, I'm not entirely convinced that "relevante" in this case would mean "relevant". I think it is much more likely to mean "important" or "notable" in this case. And I also think that rather than "valuation", "assessment" is more appropriate, as it is talking about scientific testing. It is difficult without seeing the whole text, but this is my opinion. Regards, Mike -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 15 mins (2008-05-23 09:23:35 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Of course it depends on the context, but "valuation" or "evaluation" may be just as appropriate :-) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 45 mins (2008-05-23 09:53:52 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Does no one else have any ideas? -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2008-05-23 10:15:22 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Hi Liz I think significant, important, notable are all good. But I wouldn't use outstanding, personally - just a hunch -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2008-05-23 10:25:27 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- No problem Liz, wouldn't be the first time it's happened to me either! :-) |
