Tagalog term

kinikilig

Non-PRO Tagalog to English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
"I want to be your maid and your kinikilig."

I was told it is hard to translate because there is no direct English equivalent. May be: mistress?

I don't think it means mistress here..... kinikilig is not a noun but the one saying it used it like one. I believe that 'kinikilig' here is a sort of Feeling. The one saying that is saying like, "I want to be your made and someone who gives you a thrilling/exciting feeling".

Kinikilig = thrilled or excited.
Kinikilig =" to feel a thrill, to be thrilled, to have a shivering, exciting feeling"
