Freelance translator, editor, writer and educator specializing in the arts and culture, with 20 years’ professional experience in publishing and media.

I translate from French and Italian into English, and research, write, copy-edit and proofread in English for creative and corporate clients. I also teach at the Vancouver Art Gallery as a docent/arts educator on their schools and education program. My academic background is in languages, literature, art history and translation studies (Universities of Oxford, London and Westminster).

Since turning freelance in 2005 I have translated and edited 21 books and exhibition catalogues, along with a steady stream of shorter print and web-based projects including magazines, websites, blogs, e-newsletters, marketing communications, press kits, brochures & more.

I work closely for international publishers, arts & cultural institutions, media & translation agencies, corporate clients and non-profit organizations in the following subject areas:
