Experience
Years of experience: 15. Registered at ProZ.com: Oct 2005.
I worked for five years with Naturland e.V., a German association promoting organic agriculture. Since leaving them, I do their translations of everything from their standards, to marketing brochures (see their homepage: www.naturland.de) to minutes of meetings.
Now I work in a major German auditing and taxation company, where I translate speeches, PowerPoint presentations, marketing literature, quality assurance regulations and financial statements.
I am English and have lived in Germany since 1984, so I am truly bilingual.
For samples of my work, see www.naturland.de (organic agriculture) and www.ecovis.com (auditing and taxation). A word of warning: not all the texts have been translated by me. Those which sound like translations are not mine!
Pricing: simple texts: EUR 1.00 per line of 55 characters,
specialised texts EUR 1.20 per line of 55 characters, and for texts under extreme time pressure EUR 1.50/line.
