Bio

I am a conference interpreter for the languages: Arabic (A), English (B), French and Dutch (C). I am a sworn translator for Dutch <> Arabic and Dutch <> English. I work for a wide range of international organizations, including the European Institutions and the United Nations. 

I am a member of the International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC) and the American Translators Association (ATA) where I served on the Leadership Council of the Interpreting Division for two years. I am also the winner of the ATA Innovation Award for 2022. 

I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIoL) and the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) in the UK where I served on the Board and the Membership Committee.

​I have an MA in interpreter training from the University of Geneva. I am associated with a number of universities both in the UK and abroad where I contribute to the curriculum. I am passionate about technology in the field of interpreting and offer courses on the subject internationally.
