About me
My name is Anna Berzina. I have been providing translation services to companies and individuals since 2006. I am a Latvia-based freelance translator with Russian as my mother tongue and Latvian as my second native language.
I honed my skills through rigorous academic training, earning a Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpreting in 2008, followed by a Master's degree in the specialized field of Legal Translation in 2010.
For the majority of my professional career, I have been engaged in the translation of a wide range of documents within the oil and gas industry, encompassing technical, legal, HR and financial texts, as well as numerous other documents. In the last few years, I have mainly focused on providing freelance services for translation projects in the automotive industry, technical texts and UI localisation.
I enrolled for further academic qualification in 2023 on the new Translation Studies programme to stay at the forefront of this dynamic field.
