Something very strange is happening, and continues to do so even after restarting the program, restarting the PC etc. I'm using SDL Trados Studio 2011 SP1 When I select text in a target segment, either by double clicking on a word or by dragging the mouse, the cursor hops back to the beginning of the segment, and at the same time removes any translation I have done and pastes the source text into the target segment. Has any other poor soul had the same problem, and if so, any advice (apart from change software, obviously!) thanks in advance Simon ▲ Collapse | | | | simon tanner Italy Local time: 04:32 Italian to English + ... thanks for the pointer, Paul. Tried disabling babylon (well, actually closing the program completely), but it didn't make any difference, and I can't think what other software may be causing a problem. I don't know if this might help, but, when I double click three times in a row on a word, I finally get an error message: operazione non valida a causa dello stato corrente dell'oggetto (operation invalid due to the current state of the object) whose details are as follow... .... changing the shortcut in Studio for copy source to target. Maybe this will remove the problem? I do think this is a clash of shortcuts between some application you use that is intrusive because it works inside other applications and Studio. Default is ctrl+ins or alt+ins. Maybe just remove the shortcut and test again. Regards Paul | |
