17 years in the industry, since 2009. Over 5 million words in crypto alone. Based in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.

About me

I'm Jakub, a freelance EN>PL translator and linguist with an MA in Applied Linguistics and Translation. I started in 2009 with large technical projects, moved into UI and website localization, and since 2022 my main focus has been crypto and fintech. I have translated over 5 million words for leading exchanges and wallets, and I serve as Polish language lead on two major exchange projects, where I maintain the glossary, translation memory and style guide.

I handle the full cycle: translation, machine translation post-editing (MTPE), review and SEO localization. I care about consistent terminology, correct handling of UI strings, placeholders and plural forms, and Polish copy that sounds natural to a Polish user rather than translated.
