Gamarjoba
I am listening to "Ivan Kupala", they have a very nice song I've put here http://www.accurussian.net/kupala.mp3 (mono 500 kb).
I would be absolutely happy if you could tell me what it is about in general, that would add to my listening pleasure. If you also know where I can download similar things I'd be obliged too.
Thanks!
Happy translating
Aleksandr

Georgian lullaby Feb 7, 2006

Hello Aleksandr,

This song is Georgian lullaby, performed in Megrelian dialect by Georgian national chorus "qartuli khmebi" ("Georgian Voices").
I am happy that Georgian national music sounds pleasant to you

Kind regards,

Maya

G-R-E-A-T is the correct word.
Do you know any links to MP3 files with the same?
Thanks!
Aleksandr

Gamarjobat,pativcemulo batonebo da kalbatonebo.

I hope you will accept me in the Georgian forum.
Georgian music sounds very nice to me ,too, as I was born and grew up in Tbilisi and like everything connected with that country and especially its capital.I often visit my parents and other relatives there. When in Tbilisi, I download a lot of interesting things from the site mentioned by Maya Gorgoshidze .It 's the best site for downloads in Georgia, but unfortunately ,it doesn't work in Armenia where I am now.I've just come across with the following site
http://www.irakli.ru/english/songs.html
and have managed to download some of my favourite songs. They make me feel in my home-town

Respectfully yours,Alla

Gamarjoba, Alla,

Of course you are always welcome to our forum

Thank you for the interesting site. To say the truth, I am very surprised that you cannot open www.gol.ge in Armenia. Please try www.download.ge . It is the same source, which is redirected to www.gol.ge . I hope this will work.

Aleksandr, did you have any problems with this site?

Best regards,
Maya

The problem is in my internet or software Mar 11, 2006

Thank you for your kind invitation to your forum and the links

Maya, the problem with the site is not in its opening. I can easily open the portal, both links work, the problem is that I can't download anything from the sites. It may be because of my internet connection or software. Though it's just a guess.Anyway I'll try to find out the reason and hope that soon it will work

Respectfully yours,
Alla

საქართველოს გარეთ gol.ge-დან ვერაფერს გადაიწერთ.
Outside of Georgia you can't download anything from gol.ge.

Thank you for this information.
I hope following sites will not have similar problem:
http://allmp3.ge/
http://geo-mp3.org/music.php
These sites are in Georgian, but I think music is international
