ex-officio= por ofÃcio, oficialmente, em cumprimento e desempenho de uma obrigação.
Register= registrador, register ex-officio seria o registrador oficial.
Talvez ajude em algo mas precisaria da confirmação por parte de um tradutor juramentado.
