Dutch term

Halen en brengen

Dutch to English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
It is a matter of 'halen en brengen'. I expect the expression is not typically Dutch. It is often said in organisations where e.g. diverse units come together in meetings and where they receive information and where they contribute to the spreading of information. It is said in the meaning of: 'do not expect all information to be brought to you in hierarchical way'. 'Taking and bringing' doesn't yield much hits.
