It´s an abbreviation for a physioterapy treatment. I am translating notes made by the physics, concerning exercise for a man who suffered brachial plexus injury, fractures of first ribs and wrist in a road accident. The text says:
R/V 1/52. SSTMs L upper traps, U/S L supraspin, cont U/s on hand.
I understand the patient will be reviewed in a week, and that meantime he must do something concerning his left trapezius muscle, but what? I found Soft Tissue Mobilization among the abbreviations. Could it be Shoulder Soft Tissue Mobilization?
