So when you look at the outside of the building, you can see where one room or functional group of rooms ends and where the next begins. I suppose the origin is the idea that you can "read" the facade. |

facade that reveals the structure of the building Explanation: I agree entirely with Victor, but this might be another way of saying it - with "identifiable" being an option in the second instance in your text. In contrast, I suppose, to some of the shopping centres round here that present a blank concrete wall to the outside world. |
