manchmal erwischt es mich Explanation: Das ist nicht die Vergangenheitsform von "cough", das ist kein unregelmäßiges Verb. Beispiele: "You may have simply been caught out by the weather on the other side of the English Channel, and had to leave your boat in a foreign port to return for pressing business commitments." ______________________________ "Government caught out lying again A few weeks back (on 21 May) the Government stated that only one per cent of social housing is given to immigrants this was in an attempt to quell widespread fears that they are treated better by local authorities than people born in Britain." -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 29 mins (2007-07-22 15:52:00 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "Most verbs, of course, go from present tense (cough, coughs) to past tense (coughed) by adding ed (or, if the word ends in e—believe—by adding only d). But not irregular verbs. Irregular verbs go from present to past by doing all sorts of weird things—and adding ed or d isn’t one of them." http://72.14.253.104/search?q=cache:mxkHv-MaI4wJ:www.sbmin.c... überrascht werden Explanation: I think you have a misspelling here. This should be "caught out" and has nothing to do with coughing at all. The writer simply means : I get an asthma attack because I don't have Ventoline. |

caugh out Mitunter habe ich einen plötzlichen / überraschende Anfall ... Explanation: Like Barbara and Nicole I think that there is a typing mistake and that it should read "caught out". Alternative to "Anfall": Asthmaattacke |
