I am just battling with some Swiss German. It's a brochure advertising the delights of Swiss winter sports.

"urchig" means cosy and a "Beizli" is a small pub...

neutral Armorel Young : although a pub may (or may not) serve food, it principally denotes a place to drink, whereas the name Beizli would imply main a place to eat

agree Francis Lee (X) : I think this is fine. The point of the sentence is: food and drink in different, erm, Ambienten. ;-)

neutral Cetacea : "Cosy" is a little bit too soft and comfy for "urchig"; these places are often very rugged, to put it mildly.
