In fact, this is not a request for translating a term... I´m just looking for help of my
more digitally advanced colleagues in search of an on-line sample of an interrogatory
(it mostly deals with real estate questions). And then, what is an accepted English
equivalent for the Spanish "Confiese ser cierto que.." It is acknowledged that..?

See below,
Ailish got it right, but instead o fthe formalistic formulation "X admits...", I'd put it as a command "Admit it to be true..."

It is been stated as true....
Or: 'You declare as true'...
In legal researchs (not criminal investigations), the term "confess" is not used, so the person 'states' or 'declares' under oath, in good faith, before a Notary Public, which certifies the act, [signing and sealing it], to make it valid in a court or in any legal action. (This act is a public one).
Luck!

INTEROGATORIO
EXTRACT "Interrogatory - A set of questionnaires exchanged by the parties during the discovery process" FROM http://www.google.com/search?q=cache:www.mesotheliomanews.co...
INTEROGATORIO CONFIRMED IN http://www.google.com/search?q=cache:www.nuestramerica.com/i... EXTRACT "El juez Guzmán retrasa el interogatorio de Pinochet para evitar choques con los militares"
"Confiese ser cierto que..."
X admits it to be true that...."
(It seems that this is a cross-questioning of a witness).
It would be good to see more of that sentence, becuase I'm not sure that in the context an impersonal 'it is acknowledged that' would be OK.

As for your next question and what you really wanted to know - tell the facts as you know them. Have you ever seen the old TV show Dragnet? One of the favorite lines Sgt. Friday would use was "Just the facts, ma'am" - well, that's what we're dealing with here. Out of context I would suggest "state the facts as you know them." Hope this helps you! Good luck!
