Science - Medical (general) / Ophthalmology

ocular fundus
Explanation:
This is the standard term. "Eye fundus" is a popular term and is used only 30% as much as "ocular fundus" - per Internet.

I sure hope that we are making an effort to get standardized medical terms into the glossary instead of simply "what people say." In the US and many international organizations, Dorland is considered the standard for medical terminology in English.

neutral  Gilmar Fernandes: Pls. enlighten us with your supporting material. Where is the link from DORLAND ? I see you're an expert on medical translations and don't doubt your answer, but Fiona's answer is backed up by a reputable source such as Wikepedia.

-> "Dorland's Medical Dictionary" - personally, I would refuse to undertake a translation in a field for which I was not familiar with the basic references.
