crossing (or intersection) at different levels Explanation: I suppose unlike the "complete two-level junction" with roads having access to each other, intersection at different levels just means one road passes under the other by means of a tunnel or bridge. |

multi-level junction Explanation: The reference is to the Motorway Archive, and it has a pair of very nice photos of a multi-level junction. The nice thing about this term and "two-level junction" is that they work in both British and US English. Example sentence(s):
