French term
MAF perçus
French to English
Medical
Medical (general)
This is found in a medical report following a prenatal visit. Under the "MAF" column, it states "perçus". From my understanding, the abbreviation MAF is the same in English. I'm not quite sure about the term "perçus".
Any suggestion on the entire term is appreciated.
Thanks,
Carline

Fetal Alcohol Effects detected
Since this has to do with a pregnancy, this is a possible translation of the French: MAF = manifestations d'alcoolisme foetal.
I would say that "perçus" in this case would be "perceived" or "detected".
Without knowing more of the context, it's hard to be certain. See if it fits with the rest of the text
The English abbreviation is FAE, so you could say" FAE detected".
There's no harm in asking for a confirmation from the client.
