If you want to know how to hyphenate it, then definitely trans-action, because the two components of the word are "trans" and "action" (and this is also reflected in the pronounciation - trans-action)

: Absolutely. Hyphenating 'tran-saction' would be absolutely incorrect und make reading hard (refer to Internet -> Intern-et rather than Inter-net).

These two options are correct according to Merriam-Webster; "tran-saction" is certainly incorrect.
