terminação

I am under the impression that "make-off" is an incorrect translation for cable termination:

I suppose the following is the document you are translating, right? It seems to have been translated from Arabic. I would try that language pair to see if anyone can figure out what make-off is. :)

Cable make-off
Cables with braid armour shall have outer heat shrink sleeve which is fitted over the complete cable make-off.

Ponta do cabo descascada? ;)
Note from asker:
Obrigada, Luiza. Acabaram de me explicar que make-off is where the cable sheath was removed, like a sheath cut-off. É inglês mesmo, coisa de "tecnologês". :)
Eu vou deixar como você sugere, mas sem cabo, pois fica meio redundante. Só ponta descascada. Obrigada! ;)

acabamento (do cabo)/cortar e amarrar as pontas do cabo

Cortar e amarrar as pontas do cabo.

Instead of an armoured cable you could use FP200. It is the modern equivalent of the old copper sheathed pyro cables. FP cables are extreamly flexible and easy to install, compaired with armoured cables, you don't have to make the ends off, the cables, can terminate with an ordinary cable gland and you can get FP cables to go round tight corners or bends
